Three Fishes. One of the early signs of Christendom was the fish. The Greek word for fish is IXTHUS. This is an acrostic for the Greek words for Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior. Shows Jesus as part of the Trinity

 

 

 

 

Triquetra, a symbol of the Holy Trinity. Based on  the sign of the Fish.Found especially in Great Britain. Its three equal arcs represent equality, its continuous line expresses eternity, and the interweaving represents indivisibility.

The Shield of the Trinity is often used in chatechisms and other forms of Christian education to illustrate the truine nature of the Godhead. The Father (Pater), Son (Filius) and Spirit (Spiritu) are distinct persons, but they are all one God (Deus).

 

The three curving sides, each exactly equal in length, carry the Latin words, "is not".  The short straight bands have the word "is".  The outer circles bear the words, "Father", "Son", "Holy Spirit", while the inner circle is "God".

 

 

 

 

The All-Seeing Eye.
This all-seeing eye of God looks out from the triangle of the Trinity. 
It is found in some English and Greek churches.
